Setting goals is essential for progress, but rigidly adhering to them can hinder growth and adaptation. This article argues that goals should be flexible and adaptable, much like clay that can be reshaped as circumstances change. By viewing goals as living objectives rather than fixed endpoints, individuals can respond to new information and experiences, allowing for innovation and growth. Embracing this fluidity encourages continuous learning and prevents the frustration that comes from unmet expectations. The key is to maintain focus on the overarching vision while being open to modifying the steps along the way.
